Description

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Abtrennen der Ähren von den Halmen vor dem Dreschen. Es ist zu diesem Zwecke bekannt, auf der Dreschmaschine eine Schneidvorrichtung und ein Doppelförderband anzuordnen, welches die abgeschnittenen Ähren der Dreschmaschine zuführt und die Halme an eine Verbrauchsstelle bringt. Als Schneidvorrichtung wurde bisher eine Kreissäge verwendet. Diese Anordnung hat den Nachteil, daß infolge der kreisförmigen Querschnittsfläche der einzelnen Hahnbündel beim Abtrennen der Hahne ungleichmäßige Mengen von Ähren und Hahne auf die Förderbänder abgelegt wurden, wodurch eine verschiedene Belastung der Dreschmaschine hervorgerufen wird. Dieser Nachteil wird durch die Erfindung behoben, indem, als Schneidvorrichtung eine an sich bekannte endlose umlaufende Bandsäge, zur Anwendung kommt, die in einem Winkel zur Förderrichtung der Garben verläuft. Oberhalb des Bandes 3 läuft ein weiteres Band 14, um die Garben zu erfassen und zusammengedrückt der Bandsäge zuzuführen. Infolge der geneigten Lage der Bandsäge 8 wird beim Fortschreiten der Garben stets nur ein Teil der Halme abgeschnitten, bis am hinteren Ende des Trichters die ganze Garbe durchschnitten ist, wobei die Fördergeschwindigkeit derart in bezug auf die Winkellage der Säge gewählt wird, daß über den ganzen Querschnitt des Trichters stets gleiche Mengen der Halme aus samtliehen darüber befindlichen Garben abfallen.
