Description
Representation of copper chloride. In German patents 384224 and 395434 are methods for the preparation of copper chloride in neutral and alkaline, respectively Solution described.
It has now been found that to represent such solutions according to patent 384224 instead of copper metal also copper ores., z. B. copper oxide, Copper sulphide, copper oxide and similar compounds can advantageously use. The processing of such connections can be carried out in particular if they are present certain impurities in neutral or alkaline solution under very special run under favorable conditions. Because it worked without any free acid content the acid-soluble impurities remain when the copper ore is dissolved of the copper ore back undissolved. One can already see the milky cloudiness of the dissolving liquid easily see that there is no excess acid and that it is always neutral or alkaline solution is used.
Is it z. B. to the dissolution of copper sulphur, then works it is expedient to put the finely ground copper sulphate in a stirred kettle is swallowed up. The dissolution of the copper sulphate is quick and easy take place and takes place with sulfur separation.
With very highly concentrated copper sulphide you can of course also work finitely coarsely crushed ore, but this requires intensive rinsing necessary by suitable agitation in a stirrer or in a circulation vessel the sulfur particles formed on the surface of the ore grains from the to remove unchanged ore and so further attack the solution liquid to facilitate. Embodiment. 50 g were dissolved in one liter of water Table salt. Then 80 g of copper sulphide were added in a finely divided state and dropwise hydrochloric acid while gently warming the solution and stirring vigorously Air introduced. After about two hours of introducing «-ar in the remaining one Residue, which consisted of sulfur, only contained ¢ g of copper. The copper was therefore almost 95 percent dissolved.
