Description
For the rolling in of pipes pipe rollers have become known, in which except the usual rolled stones that act against the chamber or boiler wall, conically shaped Flanging rollers or rollers are provided which flare around the end of the tube protruding beyond the chamber or boiler wall or should be turned over, i.e. partially, still into the hole in the boiler or chamber wall enter, sometimes with their mostly conical shape or otherwise suitable Step forward with the profiled end over the chamber wall in order to attach the pipe end to the. Roll down the chamber wall so that the pipe is in its. Seat is securely fastened.
This mode of operation requires an exact measurement of the pipe length so that an equal piece of the end of each pipe always protrudes beyond 1 , the chamber wall, in order to enable the flanging. This pause of the same length is difficult to carry out in practice and requires a lot of manual work. The flanging also gives the tube a wedge-shaped flanged edge which, due to its shape, allows the connection to be loosened as a result of the movements that occur when the pressure is released and cooled. The invention aims to achieve a secure fastening of the rolled-in tubes in the boiler wall by widening the protruding tube end so that it rests evenly on the boiler or chamber wall with a relatively wide annular surface. The expanded part of the pipe is then subjected to shearing stress, and this stress cannot become so great, even at high pressures, that loosening of the pipe becomes possible.
Hierbei ist es dann gleichgültig, wie weit das Rohrende aus der Kammer- oder KesselwandThis success is achieved according to the invention in that the tube roller except the ordinary rolled stones receives widening stones and also a well-known one Has adjusting nut, which before the start of the work in such a way against the expansion stones, is that the lower edge of the adjusting nut with which it is against the Kesseloder The chamber wall supports, over the lower edge of the expansion blocks, by approximately the wall thickness of the tubes to be rolled Removal protrudes, so that the expansion stones when using the boiling pipe roller the chamber wall with its lower edge only up to one due to the pipe wall thickness can approach a certain limit. In this case, it does not matter how far the pipe end protrudes from the chamber or boiler wall
hervorragt, da die Aufweitsteine stets nur die gleiche zu bearbeitende Stelle jedes Röhrendes treffen können. ; excellent, since the expansion stones can only hit the same area to be worked on each tube end. ;
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht die Erfindung. The drawing illustrates the invention.

Abb. 3 ist eine Aufsicht zu Abb. i.Fig. 3 is a plan view of Fig. I.
The roller is composed in a known manner ίο from the roller body α, the rolling stones b, the mandrel ια 1 and the union or adjusting nut d. One of the rolling stones b is replaced by two rolling stones c, c 1 , which together correspond approximately to the length of the remaining rolling stones b. The smaller rolling stone c 1 , which was also cylindrical in shape here, is larger in diameter than the rolling stone c or b and, according to the invention, serves to widen the pipe end protruding beyond the chamber or boiler wall. The position of this expansion stone c 1 to the pipe end of the boiler or chamber wall / is determined by the adjusting nut d, which is set at the beginning of the work in such a way that, as Fig. I_ shows, the expansion stone c 1 only up to approximately the thickness the corresponding distance of the pipe can approach the chamber or boiler wall /. When the roller is actuated, the two rolling stones b and stone c open the pipe end so that the pipe lies tightly in the pipe seat of the chamber or boiler wall. The expansion stone c 1 causes an annular widening of the pipe end, so that it overlaps the chamber or boiler wall with an annular part, whereby the pipe is secured in its seat. The expansion stone can be shaped in various ways, but in such a way that its essentially solely effective lower edge protrudes sufficiently far above the rolling stone located underneath.
