Description

Batikverfahren. Batik method. Addition to patent 395565. The main patent 3g5565 protects a batik process in which the fabrics covered with suitable reserves are stained with chromium chloride and, after the reserve has been removed, colored in a boiling bath with related dyes. In the further development of this process, the technically important observation was made that such batiks can surprisingly also be dyed at ordinary temperature before the reserve is removed from the fabric.

This method is carried out, for. B. in such a way that one the goods are first impregnated by soaking them in chromium chloride solution of i2 ° B6, which Drain off excess pickling liquid and allow the goods treated in this way to dry. After drying, the fabric is then allowed to pass through a weakly alkaline bath (e.g. with a content of .5 g soda or chalk or lime per liter), rinses vigorously and colors the thus stained goods depending on the production of the individual tones in the following described way.

Beispiel i.Example i.

The stained goods are placed in a solution of a suitable chrome stain dye, z. B. Chromorange GR, which contains about 10 g of dye and 3o g of ammonium acetic acid per liter contains, for several hours at ordinary temperature, rinses as soon as the desired Depth of color is reached, and the wax reserve boils down with water, whereby at the same time the complete formation of the chrome paint occurs. The same effect can be achieved if the unstained goods are first treated with a dye solution at normal temperature treated and then pickled at ordinary temperature as well.

Beispiel 2.Example 2.

B. 2o g Chrombrillantscharlach GD i. The pickled goods are soaked by briefly dipping or brushing with a concentrated color solution that z. B. 2o g chrome brilliant scarlet GD i. Tg. Or 2o g chrome red-brown contains 5 RD and 50 g acetic acid ammonium per liter, drains, drys and repeats this operation until the desired depth of the tone is reached, and then proceeds as indicated in example i.
