Visier mit vorgeschaltetem Kristallprisma. Die Erfindung betrifft ein Visier mit vorgeschaltetem Kristallprisma. Das Neue besteht darin, daß die Strahlen, welche nur den Rand des Augensternes treffen, abgelenkt werden, so daß das Ziel über dem Visier scharfkantig abgegrenzt erscheint. Die Zeichnung zeigt eine beispielsweise Ausführung. Das Kristallprisma ist aus den zwei Teilen o und b so zusammengesetzt, daß die Fläche c die Strahlen d reflektiert und nur die Strahlen e, e' und f hindurchläßt. Der Strahl e' stellt die Visierlinie dar und trifft die unterste sichtbare Kante g des Zieles h. Die Strahlen von dieser Stelle kommen durch den ganzen Augenstern i in das Auge, weshalb man das Ziel über dem Visier genau abgegrenzt sieht; dagegen kommen ohne Vorsatz des Kristalls über d'as Visier l noch von der unter der Kante g befindlichen Stelle k des Zieles Strahlen in das Auge, aber nur in den oberen Rand m des Augensterns i, so daß das Ziel über dem Visier ungenau begrenzt erscheint. Die Wirkung des Kristallvisiers bleibt bestehen, wenn das Visier l sich weniger als um Augmsternhöhe über die Linie e' erhebt, weshalb ein; gewöhnliches Visier verwendet werden kann. Die Wirkung des Kristalles kann auch durch Wölbung der Fläche c beliebig geändert werden, wodurch die beste Wirkung ermittelt werden kann. Um die Farbenbildung zu verhindern, kann, wie Abb.2 zeigt, die Eintrittsfläche n etwas schräg gestellt werden, so daß die Strahlen durch den Eintritt zerlegt, aber durch den Kristallteil a wieder gesammelt werden, indem derselbe aus einem Material von schwächerer Brechung besteht.
