Abstract

The torpedo tube inner transport mechanism comprises a ram so coupled by a rope to a slider that movement of the ram generates greater movement of the slider. The piston rod (21) of the ram (2) is fixed in the tube (1) near the inner end (12). The cylinder (31) is externally profiled, to travel on a guide rail (35) on the tube inside. The slider (4) works on the side of the cylinder facing the tube centre, which forms a track.
