Claims (5)
1. Verfahren zum Benutzen eines faserverstärkten, polymeren
Matrixverbundmaterials, wobei die Faserverstärkung eine Schicht amorphen, hydratisierten Metallalkoxids hat, das
durch Auftragen auf die Faser und anschließende Hydrolyse einer Schicht von MxORy oder Kombinationen davon gebildet
wird, wobei gilt
a) &khgr; ist 1;
b) y is 2, 3 oder 4;
c) M hat eine Valenz von 2,3 oder 4; und
d) R ist ein organisches Radikal;
wobei die Verbesserung beinhaltet: Beaufschlagen des Verbundmaterials
mit Temperaturen von etwa 1000C bis etwa 9750C, wobei das Verbundmaterial größere Oxidationsbeständigkeit
hat.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei M aus der Gruppe ausgewählt
wird, die aus Titan, Aluminium und Silicium besteht, und wobei die Faser aus der Gruppe ausgewählt wird, die aus
Graphit, Glas, Siliciumcarbid, Aluminiumoxid, Bor und PoIyaramid
besteht.
3. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei die Faser Graphit ist und wobei M Aluminium ist.
4. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Verbundmaterial mit
Temperaturen von etwa 5000C bis etwa 975°C beaufschlagt
wird.
5. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, wobei MxOR^ teilweise hydrolisiert
wird, bevor es auf die Faser aufgebracht wird.
