Abstract

The electric connector socket envelope (13) is an upwardly open fluid chamber (15) and at the top a fuel feed orifice (16) is supplied from the pump wheel. The fuel feed (16)may be connected via a hole (17) in the upper bearing shield (2) from the inside of the pump. The hole (17) may lead to the bearing (11) of the rotor (8) of the pump motor (9). Above the feed (16), floating to the hole, a deflection ace (19) may steer the upwards spray of fuel to the liq. chamber (15). This face may be at the end of an upwards screen wall (21) of the bearing shield. The face may be formed by an outwardly directed roof-type projection (20) of the socket housing (14).
