Description

Process for the lyzerizing of piece of textile goods, in particular of Woven, knitted or the like in a continuous web. It is already known when mercerizing of fabrics, the fabric, which was previously mostly under tension, is continuously wound up (to be docked), and the fabric wrapped in this way is allowed to stand for a long time before rinsing permit. A hot rinse then takes place.

This known method has the major for the goods to be treated Disadvantage that in the quiet storage of the dock, the lye from the upper layers the dock seeps into the lower ones, so that the latter more than the rest of the lye are permeated. The consequence of this is that the goods are not uniform is mercerized. There are areas that are far less shiny than some, the z. B. has formed the lower layers of the dock.

In contrast, the subject matter of the invention is a method for Mercerization of piece goods, in particular of woven, knitted or similar in continuous web in which the leached tissue is continuously docked, but the disadvantage of the known method is completely eliminated in that the after leaving the lye bath continuously docked goods in on = docked Condition slowly with the dock for a long time, about to 12 hours, before rinsing is rotated around the docking axis. This longer turning outside of the tub causes an even impregnation of the goods, all layers become even permeated by the lye. All goods are turned as a result of the Tensions occurring in it are evenly hard, and when they are afterwards in the tense Condition is flushed, the tensions are released and it becomes a real one even high gloss achieved.

Claim: A method for mercerizing piece goods, in particular woven fabrics, knitted fabrics or the like in a continuous path, in which the lye-treated fabric is continuously docked, characterized in that the piece goods in the docked state for a long time before rinsing, for example ro to i2 Hours, is slowly rotated around the docking axis, so that all layers are evenly penetrated by the lye.
