Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a method for screening or Filtering drinking, industrial and waste water.
Drum or belt sieve or filter machines are for the Filtering a wide variety of waters. Your from that Raw water acted on sieve or filter media in the Usually consist of monofilament filter cloth, are in operation continuously hosed and thus for the next filtering prepared. It has been shown that the Filter fabrics form deposits that are made up of complex Metal salts exist. This process is also known from Chamber filter plates, in which the deposits through express a reduced filtrate throughput. With the sieve and Filter machines create a jam due to the deposits the inlet side. When a certain one is reached the filter fabric must be cleaned. The task of initiating this cleaning process automatically and to run, according to the invention solved that the sieve or filter device in predetermined Time intervals on the inlet side decommissioned and with a reference liquid the jam against the lowered level measured on the pure water side and if a level is exceeded given jams cleaning the sieve or filter medium is initiated. The trigger for the cleaning process is therefore not the raw water, but a reference liquid whose Degree of pollution is known. Preferably one uses Filtrate from the pure water side as reference liquid.
Since the sieve or filter medium is operating in a clean Condition already has a certain flow resistance this resistance as a level of congestion before commissioning Pure water measured and stored. This saved The accumulation height is then the one with the reference liquid measured subtracted and the difference with the given Maximum value compared. If the difference exceeds that predetermined target, then the cleaning process automatically initiated at which as a conveyor for the cleaning medium preferably an ejector operated with filtrate is used, which doses the cleaning chemical automatically. For cleaning will preferably be the same facilities used in the operation of the spraying of the filter medium to get. It is then just a changeover valve and the Ejector with chemical dosing and storage container additionally necessary. The one that arises during cleaning Cleaning sludge is preferably at least partially in the Leave the sump of the machine so that the filter medium is in operation constantly running through the cleaning sludge and doing it constantly cleans itself.
The cleaning process is described in detail below using four system diagrams. According to Fig. 1, the drum filter press system includes a powered in a housing 1 mounted filter drum 2 with upper Abspritzdüsenleiste 3 and the inner collecting trough 4, the end of which leads 5 via a check valve 6 in a pump sump. 7 In the hollow bearing 8 of the feed side of the raw water inlet 9 to which a multi-way valve 10 a return conduit 11 is connected to filtrate flows. From the filtrate side, a bilge pump 12 can deliver pure water via a four-way valve 13 either into the pure water outlet 14 or into an ejector 15 , which doses ( 16 ) the cleaning chemicals in a reservoir 17 and feeds them to the cleaning nozzle bar 3 . The pump sump 7 also has a pressure pump 18 for the return line 28 of the rinsing and cleaning sludge to the sewage treatment plant.
The filter drum 2 is equipped with a accumulation knife 19 which is connected via an evaluation unit 20 to a central computer 21 which in turn controls the pumps, multi-way valves and the metering of the cleaning chemical.
After an operating time specified in the computer, the raw water supply 9 is first blocked by means of the multi-way valve 10 and the spray rinsing 22 of the filter drum is deactivated. The computer 21 then starts the bilge pump 12 and switches the multi-way valve 13 to drain into the clean water outlet 14 . This continues until a residual level predetermined by a (not shown) level switch is reached, at which about 5 baskets of the filter drum are still immersed ( FIG. 1).
Now the multi-way valve 13 is used to switch back pumps 11 to the raw water supply 9 ( FIG. 2). Here, the congestion difference 23 in the filter drum is measured in relation to the reduced pure water level 24 , the filtrate being used as a constant, defined reference medium. If there is no increase in the comparison with the operational traffic jam determined when starting up with pure water, the system is immediately switched back to normal operation by shutting down the bilge pump 12 and opening the multi-way valve 10 again.
However, the comparison shows an increase in pollution above the specified allowable value, then the chemical Cleaning process initiated as follows:
By reversing the multi-way valve 13 , the ejector pump 15 is started, which sprays acidified filtrate onto the filter surfaces via the nozzle bar. The cleaning sludge is collected in the collecting trough 4 and passed into the pump sump 7 ( FIG. 3). After a predetermined cleaning interval, filtrate is pumped into the inside of the drum again ( FIG. 2) and the congestion difference is measured. If the measurement shows that the filter resistance has dropped to the predetermined minimum, then the filter machine sump is transferred to the pump sump and the entire contents thereof are discharged to the sewage treatment plant 28 . The filter machine is then ready for the next filtering. If the measurement does not result in a satisfactory reduction in the filter resistance, the cleaning cycle is repeated until the preset minimum filter resistance is reached. By returning the cleaning sludge to the wastewater treatment plant, from which it returns to the filter machine, the filtrate is enriched with cleaning chemicals, so that the filter fabric is also continuously cleaned during the filter operation.
