Korkmaschine zum Verschließen von Flaschen. Zum maschinellen Verschließen
von Flaschen in Küfereien und anderen Betrieben werden Korkmaschinen benutzt, bei
denen ein motorisch oder von Hand angetriebener, auf und nieder gehender Stempel
den- Korken in die unter ihn gestellte Flasche drückt. Hierbei zerbricht nicht selten
die Flasche, deren Splitter den Verschließer gefährden und deren Inhalt verlorengeht.

Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Einrichtung, die in einfacher und
sehr sicherer Weise beim Zerbrechen einer Flasche deren Inhalt auffängt und den
Verschließer vor Verletzungen schützt. Ein besonderer Vorteil der neuen Vorrichtung
besteht darin, daß sie sich mühelos und ohne nennenswerte Hilfsmittel an jeder Korkmaschine

Auffangsgefäß c ist ein aus, zwei Halbz_vlitidern d und dl bestehender Schutzmantel
angebracht, der die Flasche zu umschließen vermag (Abb. a). Der eine Halbmantel
d ist an der Korkmaschine oder einem mit ihr verschraubbaren Träger e aufgehängt,
und zwar am vorteilhaftesten vermittels einer Öse f mit Stellschraube g (Abb. 2).
Der andere, .auf der Vorderseite der Maschine liegende Halbmantel dl ist durch Lappen
1a oder sonstwie an einem senkrechten, schraubenartig verwundenen Vierkantdorn i
befestigt, der drehbar in einem mit dem Träger e verbundenen Bügel
k gelagert ist. Demzufolge kann durch Drehen des Dornes i der Schutzmantel

niemals in Gefahr ist und der beim Platzen freiwerdende Flascheninhalt mit Sicherheit
dem Auffangbehälter c zugeleitet wird. Der hochgehende Stempel iz öffnet den 'Mantel
d, dl und gestattet dem Verschließer das -Auswechseln der Flaschen. Ein wesentlicher
Vorzug der neuen Einrichtung besteht darin, daß sie vollkommen selbsttätig arbeitet,
so daß der ohnehin stark beschäftigte Verschließer nicht einen einzigen Sonderhandgriff
