Abstract

The invention relates to a substance combination which, in a wall/ceiling opening, seals off the cables/pipes which pass through with respect to the opening such that, in the event of fire, the fire is prevented from passing through the opening from one area to another. The essential component of the substance combination is a cellulose fibre mixture which is discharged as a light waste fraction from the cleaning plants of the paper recycling industry. By addition of and intimate mixing with magnesium oxide and magnesium sulphate, the resulting mixture gives, after hardening, a fire-resistant, dimensionally stable, extremely lightweight, water-resistant and gas-impermeable product which can easily be penetrated for the subsequent laying of cables (pipes) and can be sealed again using the same composition. This composition is easy to process and presents no health hazard.

dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Dicht-Stopfmasse nach der Einarbeitung und Aushärtung um die Kabel oder Rohre und abdichten der Restöffnung mit der Dicht-Stopfmasse in Wand- oder Deckenöffnungen, Hohl-Zwischenräumen oder Fugen keine Gase oder Wasser hindurchläßt, bzw. wasserfest ist,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die geringe Wärmeleitfähigkeit und hohe elektrische Isolation der Dicht- Stopfmasse im Brandfall eine starke Erwärmung auf der flammabgewandten Seite verhindert, spannungsführende Teile isoliert bleiben,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß während eines Brandfalles auftretende Druckschwankungen standgehalten werden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Dicht-Stopfmasse nach dem Abdichten und Aushärten von Kabel-Rohr­ durchführungen sich weder ausdehnt noch schrumpft, ihre angenommene Form nach der Aushärtung beibehält,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß durch die Handhabung, Verarbeitung der Dicht-Stopfmasse eine gesundheitliche Gefährdung nicht gegeben ist, während eines Brandfalles keine toxischen Gase von der Dicht-Stopfmasse abgespalten werden,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß die Dicht-Stopfmasse für eine Nachbelegung mit Kabel oder Rohren die ausge­ härtete Dicht-Stopfmasse leicht zu durchbohren und mit der gleichen Masse die neu eingezogenen Kabel oder Rohre abzudichten ist, eine Staubbildung vermieden wird,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß aus der Dicht-Stopfmasse feuerfeste Leichtbauplatten, Wärmeisolierplatten und Platten oder Ziegel zur Abschottung größerer Wand-Deckenöffnungen herge­ stellt werden können,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß aus der Dicht-Stopfmasse feuerfeste Schallisolierplatten hergestellt werden können.
