Description

Kreuzgelenkkupplung. Universal joint coupling. The invention relates to such universal joint couplings, in which the two shafts to be coupled are articulated with them and with one another connected links are coupled in such a way that the shafts are not only parallel moved towards each other and inclined towards each other, but also with uniaxial, parallel or position inclined to one another while working with their ends facing one another can be approached and removed from each other again. The invention aims To train universal joint couplings of this type so that the left behind the driven against the driving wave is restricted as much as possible.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention shown, namely - Fig. i shows a section through the coupling and Fig. 2 a section according to 2-2 of Fig. i, seen from above; also show in smaller Scale Fig. 3 to 5 a view of the coupling in different positions of the Parts.

The ends of the two shafts to be coupled .3 are rigidly connected to sleeve-like connecting pieces B which have an eye b1. By means of this eye, the pieces B can each be rotated on a bolt C directed transversely to the associated shaft. On both sides of the eye b1, a link D is rigidly attached to each bolt C by means of an eye and a pin cl, which is rotatably connected to a bolt E by an eye dl (Figs. I and 2). Each eye dl engages between a pair of eyes f1 through which a link F, which is fork-shaped on both sides, is rotatably connected to the bolt Ein. Two of the links F are in a rotatable connection with a bolt G through pairs of eyes f2, which mutually engage with one another. As a result, each link has a relatively large contact length on the bolts E and G, despite the small overall width of the coupling, so that the coupling during transmission of movements of the type in question can work with as little play as possible. Each pair of links F connects a link D connected to one shaft with a link D connected to the other shaft. Furthermore, the axes of the joints dl E f1 and G f- run parallel to one another and perpendicular to the plane defined by the axes of the joints b1 C . The handlebars have an I-shaped cross-section, so that they have a high resistance to deflection.

The versatile mobility with a short overall length and little dead The clutch described goes into action, inter alia. particularly suitable for connection of the waves of the individual planting hole stars of potato planters.
