Abstract

The drawer (4), enclosing the dust bag (13) in one compartment (10) and accessories in another compartment (11) alongside, is partially withdrawable from the main housing (5). The motor compartment (12) is sepd. from the two forward compartments by a transverse partition (8). The travel of the drawer is restricted by buffers so that the motor compartment is not accessible to the user in the interests of safety, but the bag and accessories can be removed and replaced easily. Louvres in the main housing can serve as an air inlet when the machine is used as a blower, discharging air from an opening in its carrying handle.
