Abstract

A hand-held vacuum cleaner comprising a rotary brush (10) and dust-collecting assembly (30) is characterised by a motor casing part (1) which is unitary with the rear wall (4) of the suction nozzle and the lower portion (5) of the in handle. A nozzle plate (2) and an upper part (3) of the handle are secured to part (1) to form the nozzle and handle respectively, and a mounting ring (6) is provided on part (1) for the attachment of the dust-collecting assembly (30). <IMAGE>
