Description

Process for digging boron atrocalcite. The present invention relates to a process for the digestion of Boronatrokalzft (South American boron lime). Then the boronatrocalcite is first treated with aqueous boric acid solution. treated. Boronatrocalcite decomposes these by, on the one hand, by the addition of boric acid to the sodium tetraborate (borax) contained in the starting material, the more boric acid Sodium decaborate (Na = O, 5 BZ 03, zo H2 O) arises, while on the other hand that in the Calcium borate contained in the starting material remains unaffected. That this calcium borate Sulfuric acid is then added to the sludge containing the sludge, thereby creating this sludge broken down into boric acid lye and sulphate of lime. The sodium decaborate can Obtain in a known manner from its liquor by crystallization. The present one Boric acid can be used again as a disintegrant for the first stage of the process to serve. The present method has the advantage of being different from the use of the expensive boric acid goes away at the point in the process where the use of the Boric acid does not have any significant effect on the speed of operation and heat consumption Has more influence, and at this point a cheaper one for the second stage of the procedure Introduces disintegration means, but at the same time that required for the first stage Boric acid lye allowed to be recovered.

Claims (1)

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zum Aufschließen von Boronatrokalzit, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Boronatrokalzit durch wäßrige Borsäurelösung in Natriumdekaborat und Kalziumborat übergeführt und das so entstandene Kalziumboxat durch Schwefelsäure in Borsäure und schwefelsauren Kalk zerlegt wird.PATENT CLAIM: Process for the digestion of boronatrocalcite, thereby characterized in that the Boronatrocalcite by aqueous boric acid solution in sodium decaborate and calcium borate and the resulting calcium boxate by sulfuric acid is broken down into boric acid and lime sulfuric acid.
