Description

Process for the production of a fertilizer. Addition to patent 391758 *). Of the lime or magnesia to be used according to the method of the main patent a part can be replaced with advantage by such anhydrous salts, the water able to bind as crystal water. It is not always necessary to do this Place the replaced lime or magnesia the same or equivalent amount apply to dehydrated salt; rather, as a rule, a specific Amount of lime or magnesia from a slightly smaller amount of dehydrated salt substitute.

For example, 330 kg of waste liquor (3.4 ° B6) were converted into dry, grindable and spreadable fertilizer with 25 kg of quicklime and 25 kg of dehydrated magnesium sulphate. The water of crystallization is sufficiently slow that the mixture itself and the possible addition of peat waste and other substances, which, however, is not absolutely necessary, can be carried out comfortably. The mass takes z. B. much slower the occurring as an intermediate stage of the drying process toughness, such. B. Waste liquor with lime alone in a mixture with peat litter. The dehydrated magnesium sulfate mentioned has proven particularly suitable for the present purpose. However, a similar effect can also be achieved with other dehydrated salts alone or in mixtures, e.g. B. potassium magnesium chloride, sodium sulfate, calcium sulfate, calcium sodium sulfate, calcium phosphate, magnesium phosphate and the like., Achieve. However, the use of magnesium sulphate also offers the advantage that a ratio of 3 Ca0 to z Mg0, which is particularly favorable for the soil, is easily achieved, which, given the increasing importance of magnesia fertilization for certain national products (e.g. beets, potatoes, etc.) is of particular importance.

PATENT CLAIM: Process for the production of a fertilizer according to patent 391758 from waste liquors from cellulose production, characterized in that part of the lime or magnesia to be used according to the process of the main patent is replaced by anhydrous salts which can bind water of crystallization, preferably anhydrous magnesium sulfate.
