Description
The invention relates to an adjusting device for the red End brush roller of a brush nozzle for use with a suction cleaning device for setting the application required and wear-related height of the brushes roller according to the preamble of claim 1.
For cleaning floors with different types of flooring, mainly for cleaning textile floor coverings, are used in connection with suction cleaning devices, with rotating suction tools equipped with brushes, so-called brush Nozzles used. The rotating brushes are preferred roller-shaped. The axis of rotation of the roller-shaped The brush extends parallel to the floor surface and transverse to the working direction of the nozzle. The roller-shaped brush is in the housing of the nozzle, in the area of the inflow opening for arranged the suction air flow, the suction air flow over a suction line, which ver bound, flows to the suction cleaning device. The drive the rotating brush roller is driven by a belt drive by an electric motor or by an air turbine that of the suction air flow that flows through the nozzle housing is driven. During the cleaning process, the brush nozzle moved over the floor surface to be cleaned, the slot-shaped inflow opening for the suction air flow tight comes to lie on the floor surface to be cleaned. The brush roller rotating in the nozzle housing is like this arranged that their bristles form the slit-shaped through the inflow opening for the suction air flow. Since ever according to the type of textile floor covering and its soiling a more or less deep penetration of the bristle Brush roller is required in the carpet pile, is the rotating brush roller in its height to the floor adjustable surface. From the one working with the brush nozzle Person becomes simple by an easy to use position device the penetration depth of the bristle of the brush roller set in the carpet pile. An application label on the handle part of the actuator leaves the protrusion of the Burst in the area of the inlet opening of the nozzle and there recognize the depth of penetration into the carpet pile. To the Rei few of hard, smooth floor surfaces when not in use the rotating brush is desired, it will be complete ig returned to the nozzle housing. Because the bristles of the Brush roller over a longer period of use is worn out with some of the known brush nozzles one or more readjustment options for the Ab stood the brush roller to the floor surface to compensate the worn bristle length possible. The adjustment possible e.g. in that the brush roller on their Ends is stored in two bearing blocks, which in the form coherent receiving pockets are stored in the nozzle housing. The bearings that receive the bearing pins of the brush roller Bores of the bearing blocks are eccentric - e.g. 1.5 mm - to the opposite bearing surfaces of the two Bearing blocks arranged so that when moving the bearings blocks 180 ° in the housing of the brush nozzle reduction of e.g. 3 mm towards the floor surface with which the shortened bristle length of e.g. 3 mm is balanced. To identify the different distances from the bearing bore to the respective The bearing surface of the bearing block is two-colored e.g. red / blue and with a lettering, "I" for the new condition and "II" for the worn condition Mistake. However, this embodiment requires a De assembly of the brush roller bearings and their assembly, errors often occur, especially because of craftsmanship not immigrant consumers are overwhelmed and In addition, the instructions for use are usually no longer found are.
The task was to create an adjustment option for the Distance of the brush roller to the floor surface for compensation the bristle wear to create a craft and tool-related effort not required and problem carried out by the person working with the device can be.
Die Lösung der Aufgabe gelingt wie folgt:The task is solved as follows:
The height adjustment of the rotating brush roller required for adaptation to the floor to be cleaned in each case for the desired penetration depth of the bristles into the textile floor covering to be cleaned is carried out by means of an adjusting disc with its vertical axis projecting through the upper housing wall of the brush nozzle, which has an inner half of the nozzle housing located helically rising divided annular surface is rotatably connected. An adjusting lever slides on this annular surface under the action of a spring. This control lever is firmly connected to a rotatably mounted shaft. At both ends a bearing lever is non-positively applied, the protruding ends of which form the bearing of the rotating brushes roller. A lifting or lowering movement of the actuating lever resting on the annular surface brings about a lifting or lowering movement of the two bearing levers and thus a lifting or lowering movement of the brush roller mounted therein. The ring surface, which is connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the adjusting disk, is designed to rise in a linear manner and is divided into two sections of 180 ° each. These two ring surfaces have the same pitch angle, but are graduated from each other by a few millimeters. When the bristle of the brush roller is new, the free end of the actuating lever lies on the higher partial ring surface and slides along this partial surface when the adjusting disk rotates. The maximum glide path is 180 °. When the adjusting disc is turned from its initial position, the adjusting lever is raised so far that the brush roller moved via the adjusting mechanism is moved from its "most distant position" within the nozzle housing to its "closest position to the floor". With increasing service life of the brush nozzle, the Bebor stung experiences increasing wear, so that it becomes necessary to compensate for the shortening of the bristle roll by lowering the brushes towards the floor surface. The second half of the ring surface is used for this. Compared to the first half of the ring surface, the height is a few millimeters - eg 3 mm - at the same pitch angle. By turning the adjusting disc in this second area of application, the bristles shortened due to wear are compensated for, so that work can continue with the usual adjustment of the adjusting disc. Appropriate labeling in the area of the adjusting disc gives the person working with the device the necessary information. In order to avoid an unintentional overturning of the adjusting disk from the "new bristle area" into the "worn bristle area", an inhibition threshold is attached between the two partial ring surfaces. A "non-limitation" of the setting height in the work area compared to the "readjustment area" would result in brushing in the nozzle housing if the work area was exceeded and lead to damage or malfunctions.

The brush nozzle 1 is mounted on the rear support wheels 2 and the front rollers 3 with their suction opening 4 at a short distance from the floor surface 5 to be cleaned easily be movable. The intake opening 4 is dimensioned in its width and length dimensions such that the housing in the nozzle 8 can move vertically and rotationally mounted brush roller 9 facing in its side facing the floor covering 5 position, the suction port 4 passes through, with its bristles 10 so that these in the pile of the textile floor covering 5 can penetrate. The rotating brush roller 9 is driven by a belt drive 11 by the electric motor 12 . The ends of the brush roller 9 are rotatably supported by the ends 13 and 14 in the bearings 17 and 18 of the bearing levers 19 and 20 . The bearing levers 19 and 20 are rotatably connected to the pivot shaft 22 , which is rotatably supported about its longitudinal axis between the guide ribs 23 and 24 . The pivot lever 28 is non-positively connected to the pivot shaft 22 ; its protruding, free, movable end 29 abuts the stepped, helically rising annular surface 33 . This annular surface is rotatably connected to the adjusting disc 35 and rotatably supported about the vertical axis of rotation 32 . The adjusting disk 35 projects through the upper wall 36 of the nozzle housing 8 . The annular surface 33 protruding into the nozzle housing interior is divided into two partial annular surfaces 33 'and 33 ''of 180 ° each.
The first part of annular surface 33 'is opposite to the second part of annular surface 33' 'at the same pitch and the same pitch direction staggered by a few millimeters. When working with the brush nozzle 1 which is connected via a suction line, not shown, via the connecting sleeve 37 to a suction cleaning device, not shown, it is necessary, depending on the design and contamination of the textile floor covering 5, to set the rotating brush roller 9 in its height position that the bristle 10 protrudes through the suction opening 4 as required and penetrates into the pile of the textile floor covering 5 . This desired penetration depth is set by turning the dial 35 according to the application label. The on the screw linearly rising partial ring surface 33 'and sliding on this free end 29 of the pivot lever 28 transmits the lifting or lowering movement generated by the pitch angle of the partial ring surface 33 ' via the pivot shaft 22 and the rotationally connected bearing levers 19 and 20 to the Brush roller 9 . The work area and thus the setting range of the brush roller 9 corresponds to a rotation of 180 ° of the adjusting disc 35 and thus the partial ring surface 33 '.
Since after a longer period of use of the brush roller 9 the bristle 10 is worn out and it therefore no longer penetrates sufficiently deeply into the textile floor covering 5 to be cleaned, it is necessary to reduce the distance of the brush roller 9 from the floor surface accordingly. For this purpose, the helically rising partial ring surface 33 '' which also extends over 180 ° and is stepped relative to the partial ring surface 33 'by a few millimeters before seen. By overcoming the surfaces between the two partial ring 33 'and 33 ''existing threshold 38 through the end 29 of the pivot lever 28 , this reaches the application area "I" = new bristle in the application area "II" = worn bristle, as shown in Fig . 3 and 4 is visible. So that the wear caused by the bristle 10 loss of length is compensated and the brush roller 9 can be adjusted in the usual manner within the application area "II" of the adjusting disc 35 to the requirement of the textile floor covering 5 to be cleaned.
Through this inventive design of the height adjustment can be set up for the brush roller by pressing only one component the "new condition" and the "wear condition" the brush roller easily and without manual and manual work Effort required in seconds and without errors risk.
It is also conceivable to adjust the worn out Bursting of the brush roller on several adjustment areas distribute levels.
Another embodiment of the actuating device is e.g. the horizontal arrangement of the axis of rotation for the adjusting disc and thus for the partial ring surfaces connected to it in a rotationally fixed manner.
