Die Erfindung hat eine Motorlokomotive zum Gegenstande, bei der die Antriebsmotoren mittels einer hydraulischen Übertragung auf die Triebräder arbeiten. Meistens wird für diese Lokomotive ein mehrzylindriger, in der Längsrichtung des Fahrgestells der Lokomotive angeordneter Verbrennungsmotor verwendet, dessen Kurbelwelle auf der einen oder auch auf beiden Seiten auf ein hydraulisches Getriebe arbeitet.
