Schwimmer entsteht.Weight compensation for Schwininier with superimposed savings basins
at ship locks. The subject of the present invention is the production
a gradually increasing or increasing weight, which is the difference in weight
which, as a result of the difference in the internal and external content of the
Float arises.

One thing to be added to the swimmer for recording: balance
It is well known that the water space used for this purpose is allowed; the displacement of water by the swimmer is not
change. The following new arrangement takes this into account.
st, x durchbrochen.
Of: the two saving basins a and b, one above the other in a float, for the water supply to the upper basin a, the lower one is perforated with two pipe bushings st, x. The lower basin b has a water supply pipe m in the middle, which has the same cross-section as the supply pipes 1 of the upper basin taken together. To ventilate the lower basin, the air pipe t goes through the upper basin. If this would approach the same cross-section as the two tubular sleeves st., N taken together. so the two basins lying one above the other would have the same area. The cross section of the air tube t is reduced for the reason described in more detail below, so that the surface area of the upper basin a is greater than that of the lower one. Since the height of the basins must be the same, the upper chambers of the double lock staircase are larger than the lower ones, corresponding to the different areas of the two basins.
Bei der Bewegung bzw. Füllung oder Entleerung der beiden Schwimmersparbecken
a, b
When moving or filling or emptying the two swimming pools a, b , the area of the supply pipes 1, m is excluded for the load or for the impact) of the swimmer, but only provided that the air pipe t has the same cross-section as that Water supply pipe ni. Due to the narrowing of the air tube around the circular ring d and the resulting increase in the surface area of the upper basin a and: the upper chamber of the lock staircase, more water enters the float. displaced as the same. This amount corresponds to the volume of the water displaced by the float. As a result, the necessary amount of water for the balance weight is available and an increase in it with the sinking of the float. on the other hand, there is a decrease as it rises.
