Die Bohrungen der Holzröhren haben gleiche Lichtweiten wie Metalltrompeten; nur erfordern Holztrompeten einen konisch gearbeiteten B- und Α-Bogen mit einem Mundstück engerer Bohrung. Der linke kleinste Holzrohrtheil nimmt mittelst eines kurzen Zugröhrchens einen Messingbogen auf, an welchem die sogenannte Maschine angebracht ist. Die Maschine, nach dem Cylindersystem hergestellt, wie solche in Deutschland gebräuchlich, ruht auf den Holzröhren und ist auf letzteren mittelst der Schrauben abc festgehalten.
