Das Ueberziehen der einzelnen Röhren mit Kautschuk geschieht in folgender Weise. Das Ganze wird dann (noch in der Prefsform eingeschlossen) behufs Vulcanisirung des Kautschuks in einen Dampfkessel gebracht, in welchem es etwa 6 Stunden lang einem Dampfdruck von 3 Atmosphären ausgesetzt bleibt.
