Description
The invention relates generically to a sound-absorbing cladding for a reverberant wall or ceiling with a porous sound absorbing layer to be applied to the reverberant wall or ceiling, an air-permeable spacer layer and a sound-permeable coating. - Sound-absorbing wall or ceiling coverings are used wherever reverberation regulation is required to improve audibility or to reduce noise. The porous sound-absorbing layer of the sound-absorbing cladding is often glued directly onto the hard-surface. Before preferably the porous sound absorption layer should be laid on a lat tenrost and an air cushion of a few centimeters between the hard surface and the sound-absorbing cladding should be seen, since such a measure improves the absorption at low frequencies.
Porous sound absorption layers generally have a soft, mechanically vulnerable and visually unappealing surface. The treatment of the porous surface with paints is disadvantageous, since such treatment leads to a considerable impairment of the absorption capacity of the sound absorption layer. It is also known that freely stretched films with a low basis weight have sufficient sound permeability and do not have a lasting effect on the absorption capacity of a sound-absorbing wall or ceiling covering. The freely stretched film acts as a membrane. It must not be hindered or dampened by contact with other materials in the membrane vibrations generated by the impacting sound. The weight per unit area of such a membrane should not exceed 30 g / m 2 . As the basis weight increases, the degree of sound absorption of the wall or ceiling cladding deteriorates considerably at medium and high frequencies. If the weight per unit area of the film exceeds 50 g / m 2 , the shielding effect of the film is so great that considerable and in some cases also complete loss of the sound absorption effect occurs in the entire listening frequency range. The low mechanical resistance speed of thin films, the sensitivity in technical processing and in particular the need for the film to swing freely in front of the sound absorbing layer are so great disadvantages that practical use is almost impossible.
AS 12 99 105 is a sound-absorbing cladding gat according to the art known from the prefabricated individual plates exists. As a sound-permeable cover, thin, almost non-reflective foils are used. They are melt-glued on a spacer layer made of thermoplastic plastic brings. The application process can only be used as a continuous production process with appropriately set up heaters lize. An exchange of the cover in the course of a renovation Place is not possible. Wallpaper strips are also conventional This type of construction cannot be used, because its weight are not reflection-free.
Starting from this prior art, the invention is based on based on a sound absorbing cladding of the genus according to the species in such a way that the surface of wallpaper webs conventional design with a particularly high basis weight that can be replaced during renovation work.
To solve this problem, the invention teaches that the coating is designed as a wallpaper sheet made of an air-impermeable material with a weight per unit area of at least 50 g / m 2 , which is equipped with needle-fine air passage openings and thereby a flow resistance of 10 to 1500 Ns / m 3 and that the wallpaper web is bonded to the spacer layer using an adhesive. - The wallpaper web is glued to the spacer layer with conventional adhesives. The spacer layer carries the adhesive on its top. This has two important functions. It acts on the one hand as an adhesion promoter and on the other hand prevents that an air and sound impermeable adhesive layer forms between the wallpaper web and the upper surface of the porous sound absorption layer. In conjunction with the gap defined by the spacer layer, wallpaper webs with a high basis weight can surprisingly be used, which are naturally characterized by good mechanical wall strength. The weight per unit area of these wallpaper webs can easily be 500 g / m 2 without impairing the sound-absorbing effect of the wall or ceiling covering. Wallpaper webs of conventional design, i.e. paper wallpapers, textile wallpapers, embossed wallpapers based on plastic materials or metal wallpapers, which are inherently impermeable to air, can be used. The invention teaches that the wallpaper web is equipped with na delfeine air passage openings. Number and geometry are chosen so that the flow resistance according to the invention is set. Surprisingly, according to the invention, wallpaper webs provided with needle-fine air passage openings do not act as sound reflectors, such as, for. B. rigid cover plates or paints. The air passage openings can be kept so small without affecting the sound absorption that they do not attract attention.
The spacer layer can be implemented in various ways. One embodiment provides that the spacer layer is a wide-meshed fabric. The adhesive can be applied to the fabric in a known manner, for example by rolling. The mesh size and the fabric thickness is set up so that excess adhesive does not block the porous surfaces of the sound-absorbing layer and the wallpaper web and does not render it impermeable to air. On the other hand, the geometry must be set up so that the wallpaper web lies evenly on the surface. The suitable geometry depends on the material of the wallpaper web. A mesh size of at least 1 mm and a fabric thickness of 0.8 mm have proven to be expedient. Another embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the spacer layer is designed as a perforated sheet, the openings of which have a free cross section of at least 10 mm 2 each. The perforated web can be designed as a flat material web or as a corrugated material web. The material is advantageously cardboard or plastic. Further configurations of the spacer layer are possible within the scope of the invention. For example, the spacer layer can consist of strip-shaped or strip-shaped material. A further preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the spacer layer designed as a perforated sheet has a self-adhesive surface or which becomes adhesive by brushing with water. The same applies to a spacer layer made of strip or strip-shaped material.
The shape of the air passage openings is arbitrary. You can slit be shaped. According to a preferred embodiment of the inven The air passage openings are hole-shaped and white have a hole diameter of 0.2 to 2 mm. Taking into account supply resistance to be set according to the invention the perforations have a perforation area of about 0.5 to 4%. The distance between the individual centers of the air passage openings should be 1 to 4 mm.
A major advantage of the invention is the free design possibility of sound-absorbing wall or ceiling cladding, and with respect to the surface, especially because of the invisible Coverage of joints and other unevenness or rough and the materials, colors and shapes of the sound-permeable cover. There is also the possibility by pulling off an unsightly wallpaper and opening bring a new train a complete renovation of the concern to carry out the room by usual repeating. Since the as Sound-permeable cover usable wallpaper strips factory are prefabricated, the reproducibility of sound absorption is very high large. The application of the wallpaper web according to the invention on the po Rough sound absorption layer is possible quickly and cleanly. A special Processing technology with special know-how is not required. All Work can be carried out by a craftsman from the "drywall construction" division be performed.
The sound-absorbing wall or ceiling cladding according to the invention is further characterized in that the sound-permeable cover must not be tensioned non-contact over the porous sound-absorbing layer, but rather that it can be firmly connected to the ground without the possibility of free oscillation due to the hindrance of the free vibration the wallpaper web at the adhesive points or by damping contact with the surface, the sound-absorbing effect of the wall or ceiling cladding is impaired overall.

The invention relates to a sound absorbing wall or ceiling clothing. The basic structure includes a porous sound absorption layer 1 and a cover as well as an attached between the sound absorption layer 1 and the wallpaper sheet 2 arranged spacer layer 3 consists of a wallpaper sheet. 2 The wallpaper web 2 has a basis weight of more than 50 g / m 2 . In the exemplary embodiment, the sound-absorbing wall or ceiling cladding is attached directly to the hard-surface 4 . It is also within the scope of the invention, however, to arrange the sound-absorbing wall or ceiling cladding on a slatted frame at a distance from the sound-hard surface. The wallpaper web 2 has needle-like air passage openings 5 , which are hole-shaped with a diameter of 0.2 to 2 mm. The flow resistance of the wallpaper web 2 is in the range from 10 to 1500 Ns / m 3 . In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the spacer layer 3 is designed as a wide-mesh fabric 6 with a mesh size s of at least 1 mm and a fabric thickness d of 0.8 mm. The wallpaper web 2 is glued to the spacer layer 3 , the spacer layer 3 carrying the adhesive on the top. From the spacer layer 3 acts as an adhesion promoter and prevents a sound and air-impermeable adhesive layer from forming between the surfaces of the sound absorption layer 1 and the wallpaper web 2 .
In the embodiment shown in Fig. 2, the spacer layer 3 consists of a perforated web 7th It has openings 8 , the free cross section of which is at least 10 mm 2 in each case. In the embodiment, the openings 8 may be square and the perforated sheet 7 may be made of cardboard or plastic. It is within the scope of the invention that the spacer layer 3 has a self-adhesive surface or becomes adhesive by brushing with water. All common types of wallpaper can be used as wallpaper web 2 . Suitable are, for example, paper wallpapers, textile wallpapers with a rear paper coating, embossed wallpapers based on plastic materials or metal foils.
