Für den während des Stanz­ vorganges im Stanzbereich erforderlichen Stillstand der Bahn 1 sind in gegenläufigen Bahnteilen vor und nach der Stanzvorrichtung Tänzerwalzen 4 vorgesehen, die gemein­ sam mit einer der Bahngeschwindigkeit entsprechenden Ge­ schwindigkeit verstellbar sind. Zu diesem Zweck sind die Tänzerwalzen 4 an einem von einem Doppelkurbelgetriebe 6, 7 hin und her bewegbaren Kreuzkopf 5 angeordnet, wobei das Kurbelgetriebe 7 über eine Hubverstellvorrichtung 9 mit einem von einem Kurvenmechanismus 10 angetriebenen Kreuzkopf 8 verbunden ist. Die Kreuzköpfe 5 und 8 sind in Linearführungen 20 bzw. 21 geführt.
