Abstract

The punching device has a rotating pressing element for a stepwise- operating shallow punch press which cooperates with a continuously operating rotary printing machine. In order to achieve higher operating speeds at acceptable constructional expenditure with such a device and at the same time to guarantee a constant web tension in the entire installation, it is proposed according to the invention that the rotating pressing element be designed as a cone (2) rolling over a punching plate (3) and that for stopping the printing, paper or foil web (1), which is necessary during the punching process in the punching region, compensating rollers (4) be provided in a manner known per se in web parts, running in opposite directions, upstream and downstream of the punching device, which compensating rollers can both be set at a speed corresponding to the web speed. <IMAGE>

Eine Druck-, Papier- oder Folienbahn 1 durchläuft eine Stanzvorrichtung, die aus einer Stanzplatte 3 und einem rotierenden Preßelement besteht, wobei letzteres von einem Kegel 3 gebildet ist, der sich auf der Stanzplatte 3 abrollt. Der Kegel 2 ist an einer Achse 11 gelagert und diese fest mit einer zu ihr senkrechten Achse 13 verbunden, deren Antrieb über ein Kegelgetriebe 18, 19 von einem Motor 22 erfolgt. Der Kegel 2 beschreibt beim Abrollen eine Kreisbahn auf einem Ring 12 und rollt über die Stanzplatte 3 in einem in der Zeichnung mit dem Win­kel α bezeichneten Bereich. Für den während des Stanz­vorganges im Stanzbereich erforderlichen Stillstand der Bahn 1 sind in gegenläufigen Bahnteilen vor und nach der Stanzvorrichtung Tänzerwalzen 4 vorgesehen, die gemein­sam mit einer der Bahngeschwindigkeit entsprechenden Ge­schwindigkeit verstellbar sind. Zu diesem Zweck sind die Tänzerwalzen 4 an einem von einem Doppelkurbelgetriebe 6, 7 hin und her bewegbaren Kreuzkopf 5 angeordnet, wobei das Kurbelgetriebe 7 über eine Hubverstellvorrichtung 9 mit einem von einem Kurvenmechanismus 10 angetriebenen Kreuzkopf 8 verbunden ist. Die Kreuzköpfe 5 und 8 sind in Linearführungen 20 bzw. 21 geführt. Der den Antrieb des Kegels 2 besorgende Motor 22 treibt über Zahnräder 14, 15, 16, 17 den Kurvenmechanismus 10 an und er ist gleichzeitig auch dazu vorgesehen, über ein Kettenrad 23 die hier nicht dargestellte Rotationsdruckmaschine anzutreiben. Claims (2)

1. Stanzvorrichtung mit einem rotierenden Preßelement für eine schrittweise arbeitende Flachstanze, die mit einer kontinuierlich arbeitenden Rotationsdruckmaschine zusammenarbeitet,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das rotierende Preßelement als ein sich über eine Stanzplatte (3) abrollender Kegel (2) ausgebildet ist und daß für den während des Stanzvorgangs im Stanzbe­reich erforderlichen Stillstand der Druck-, Papier- oder Folienbahn (1) in gegenläufigen Bahnteilen vor und nach der Stanzvorrichtung Tänzerwalzen (4) in an sich be­kannter Weise vorgesehen sind, die gemeinsam mit einer der Bahngeschwindigkeit entsprechenden Geschwindigkeit verstellbar sind.
