Abstract

A storage device for the temporary accumulation of filiform material, e.g. weft threads in a weaving loom consists of a base disc and a conical part with an eccentric axis which can be stationary as a thread supply tube revolves around their periphery. The base disc has on the peiphery a hook-shaped recess to ensure that any loop which has, e.g. after a return motion of the supply tube due to a fractured thread, accidentally become wedged behind the disc, is returned to the front.
