Abstract

1,237,766. Shuttleless looms. SULZER BROS. Ltd. 3 Sept., 1968 [6 Sept., 1967], No. 41880/68. Heading D1E. A gripper shuttle loom with weft selection has a portable weft creel 13 with a temporary weft store for each weft thread. The creel may be of the kind described in Specification 1,237,765 and each weft store of the kind described in Specification 1,115,707, the stores being driven by a common motor. The creel may be portable on a stand 27, a number of creels may be disposed one above the other or the creel may be mounted on an overhead runway.
