Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Schweißgerät zum Verschweißen von Kunststoffbahnen durch mindestens zwei im Abstand angeordneter Schweißnähte, bestehend aus einem Geräterahmen, einer vor der Verschweißungsstelle längs verschiebbar angeordneten steuer­ baren Heizeinrichtung mit mindestens zwei im Abstand angeordne­ ten Schweißkeilen, und aus einander gegenüberliegenden und aneinander anpreßbaren, durch einen Motor antreibbaren Andrück­ rollen.
Zur Probe der Dichtheit der Schweißnähte wird der Raum zwischen den beiden Schweißnähten mit Druckluft oder anderen Medien gefüllt und der Druck über eine vorgegebene Zeit gemes­ sen.
Ein Schweißgerät der eingangs erwähnten Art wurde z. B. durch das DE-GM 74 04 530 bekannt. Bei diesem bekannten Gerät erfolgt die Erwärmung der Heizkeile durch gemeinsame Heizelemente die nur gemeinsam steuerbar sind.
Bei diesem und anderen bekannten Schweißgeräten ergeben sich an den beiden im Abstand angeordneten Schweißkeilen des Heizge­ rätes unterschiedliche jedenfalls nicht kontrollierbare Be­ triebstemperaturen, so daß die parallel zueinander verlaufenden Schweißnähte eine unterschiedliche Qualität aufweisen, weshalb die beiden Nähte bei der Dichtheitsprobe nicht das erwünschte gleichartige Verhalten zeigen.
Die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung liegt nun in der Schaffung eines eingangs beschriebenen Schweißgerätes, mit welchem die parallel zueinander verlaufenden Schweißnähte in hohem Maße qualitativ gleichwertig ausgebildet werden können.
Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Heizeinrichtung thermostatisch steuerbare Heizelemente aufweist und daß die Heizelemente jedes Schweißkeiles unabhängig vonein­ ander steuerbar sind. Mit einer derartigen Zwei- oder Mehrfach­ ausbildung kann nun unabhängig von verschiedenen partiellen Temperaturunterschieden im Bereich der zu verschweißenden Kunststoffbahnen für jeden Schweißnahtbereich die exakt gleiche Schweißtemperatur eingestellt werden. Damit sind qualitativ insbesondere bezüglich der Reißfestigkeit gleichwertige Schweißnähte erreichbar, was für die an die Schweißung an­ schließende Dichtheitsprobe von großer Bedeutung ist.
Gemäß einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform der Erfindung sind die Heizelemente in an sich bekannter Weise mittels Thyristoren steuerbar, wodurch auf eine einfache Weise die Temperaturen der Schweißkeile eingestellt werden können.
Eine andere vorteilhafte Ausbildung der Erfindung besteht auch darin, daß zwischen den keramisch ausgeführten Heizelementen ein weiterer Heizkörper vorgesehen ist, wobei die beiden Heiz­ elemente im Bereich des keilförmigen Endes über den mittleren Heizkörper vorstehend ausgebildet sind. Dieses weitere Heizele­ ment dient als Vorheizung der Heizeinrichtung sowie zur leich­ teren Konstanthaltung der eigentlichen aus Aluminium gebildeten Schweißzungen. Durch die Vorsprünge im Bereich der beiden Heiz­ elemente ist eine gegenseitige störende Einflußnahme ausge­ schlossen, wobei die kleineren Winkel des Keiles auch eine längere Kontaktzone zur besseren Wärmeübertragung auf die darü­ ber gleitenden Kunststoffbahnen gegeben ist.
Keramische Heizkörper für Schweißgeräte zum Verschweißen von thermoplastischen Kunststoffbahnen sind zwar bereits durch die FR-PS 11 63 586 bekanntgeworden, doch werden diese im be­ kannten Falle lediglich als jeweils einzige Heizkörper in einem Gerät eingesetzt, mit dem lediglich eine einfache Naht herge­ stellt werden kann, bei deren Herstellung keineswegs die bei Doppelnähten gegebenen Probleme auftreten.
Im folgenden wird die Erfindung an Hand eines in der Zeichnung dargestellten Ausführungsbeispieles näher beschrieben. Es zeigt

Das Schweißgerät 1 besteht aus einem Geräterahmen 2 mit oberen und unteren Andrückrollen 3, 4 und einem Steuergerät 5. Der Geräterahmen 2 setzt sich aus zwei parallel zueinander verlau­ fenden, im Querschnitt rechteckigen Rahmenprofilen 6, 7 zusam­ men, die in ihrem hinteren Endbereich durch ein querverlaufen­ des Rohr miteinander verbunden sind. Das Rahmenprofil 6 ist starr mit dem Rohr 9 verbunden, wogegen das andere Rahmen­ profil 7 um die Achse 10 des Rohres 9 verschwenkt wird. Das Rahmenprofil 7 ist mittels einer in einem Schlitz des Rohres 9 gehaltenen Blattfeder 60, die gegen die Innenwand des hohlen Rahmenprofils 7 drückt, vorgespannt, wodurch die Andrückrol­ len 3, 4 aneinander gepreßt werden.
Im vorderen Endbereich der beiden Rahmenprofile 6, ist jeweils ein Motor 11, 12 und ein Planetengetriebe 13, 14 angeordnet, an das sich jeweils die Andrückrollen 3, 4 anschließen. Die Achse der beiden Anrückrollen 3, 4 verläuft koaxial mit der Motor­ achse. Jede Andrückrolle 3, 4 besteht aus zwei voneinander di­ stanzierten Rädern aus Gummi. Es können jedoch ebenso mehrere Räder vorgesehen werden, soferne Mehrfach-Schweißnähte ge­ wünscht werden. Am rechten Rahmenprofil 6 ist über zwei Win­ kel 15 (von denen in Fig. 2 der besseren Übersicht halber nur ein Teil dargestellt ist) ein Hangriff 16 mit einem Schal­ ter 17 befestigt. Zur Anspeisung der Motoren 11, 12 und einer zwei Schweißzungen 22 aufweisenden Heizeinrichtung 19 führt eine mehradrige Leitung 18 von dem Steuergerät 5 zum Schal­ ter 17 und von diesem über einen hohl ausgebildeten Winkel 15 zu den beiden Motoren 11, 12 und zu der mittig angeordneten Heizeinrichtung 19. Diese ist keilförmig ausgebildet und über eine Parallelogrammanlenkung 61 längsverschiebbar am Rahmenpro­ fil 6 befestigt. Zur Führung der Heizeinrichtung 19 sind an den Rahmenprofilen 6, 7 befestigte Führungsstifte 20 vorgesehen.
Die in Fig. 3 und 4 vergrößert dargestellte Heizeinrich­ tung 19 besteht aus einem Aluminiumkörper 21 mit zwei Schweiß­ keilen 22. In diesen Schweißkeilen 22 sind keramische Heizele­ mente 23, 24 vorgesehen, deren Temperatur jeweils unabhängig elektronisch regelbar ist. Zur Unterstützung der Heizleistung befindet sich zwischen den Heizelementen 23, 24 ein stabilisier­ ter, gesteuerter, ebenfalls keramisch ausgeführter Heiz­ körper 25, der zur leichteren Konstanthaltung der Schweiß­ temperatur (von etwa 280° bis 290°C) dient. Die gesamte Heiz­ leistung der Heizeinrichtung 19 beträgt dreimal 80 W. Diese Leistung wird über die Steuerleitung 18 galvanisch getrennt angespeist.
Um den Synchronlauf der beiden Motore 11, 12 zu gewährleisten, ist jeder der beiden Motore mit einem nicht dargestellten Drehzahlfühler ausgerüstet, die über Leitungen mit dem Steuer­ gerät 5 verbunden sind, das schematisch in Fig. 5 dargestellt ist.
Diese Drehzahlfühler sind an die Klemmen 30, 30′ des Steuerge­ rätes 5 angeschlossen und liefern der Drehzahl des zugehörigen Motors 11, 12 entsprechende Signale, wobei diese Motoren über Ansteuerschaltungen 33, 35 mit Strom versorgt werden. Dabei sind die Ausgänge der beiden Ansteuerschaltungen 33 und 35 mit den Klemmen 34, 36 verbunden, an denen je einer der beiden Motore angeschlossen sind. Diese Ansteuerschaltungen liefern einen dem angelegten Steuersignal entsprechenden Strom und können z. B. durch Transistoren gebildet sein.
Die Ansteuerschaltung 33 ist mit einem Sollwertgeber 32 ver­ bunden und versorgt den als Leitmotor dienenden Motor, wogegen die Ansteuerschaltung 35 mit dem Ausgang eines Soll-Istwert- Reglers 31 verbunden ist, dem das Signal des dem Leitmotor zugeordneten Drehzahlfühlers als Sollwert und das Signal des dem vom Leitmotor abhängigen Motor zugeordneten Drehzahlfühlers als Istwert zugeführt wird. Dieser Regler 31 liefert daher an seinem Ausgang ein Steuersignal dessen Größe für den synchronen Lauf der beiden Motore 11, 12 sorgt und das der Ansteuerschal­ tung 35 zugeführt wird.
Die Gleichspannungsversorgung des Soll-Istwert-Reglers 31 wie auch der Ansteuerschaltungen 33, 35 und des Sollwertgebers 32, der z. B. durch ein Potentiometer gebildet sein kann, erfolgt über eine Gleichrichterschaltung 46, die an die an eine Wech­ selspannungsquelle angeschlossene Klemme 45 des Steuergerätes 5 angeschlossen ist.
Weiters sind an den Klemmen 40, 40′ und 40′′ im Bereich der beiden Schweißzungen 22 und dem Mittelteil der Heizeinrichtung 19 angeordnete Temperaturfühler RT, RT′, RT′′ z. B. Thermistoren ange­ schlossen, welche Klemmen 40, 40′, 40′′ mit den Klemmen 54 einer Ansteuerschaltung 50 für je einen Thyristor T 3, T 3′, T 3′′ verbun­ den sind, die den Stromfluß durch die an den Klemmen 44, 44′, 44′′ des Steuergerätes 5 angeschlossenen Heizelemente 23, 24, 25 steuern.
An den Klemmen 51, 52 der Ansteuerschaltungen 50 sind Sollwert­ geber RP, RP′, RP′′ angeschlossen, die z. B. durch einstellbare Widerstände gebildet sein können. Die Klemme 55 der Ansteuer­ schaltung 50 ist mit Masse verbunden, mit der auch der Tempera­ turfühler RT, RT′, RT′′ und die Heizelemente 23, 24, 25 verbunden sind.
Die den Steuerausgang bildende Klemme 56 ist mit der Steuer­ elektrode des Thyristors T 3, T 3′, T 3′′ verbunden und an der Klem­ me 51 liegt eine Wechselspannung an.
Wie aus Fig. 5 ersichtlich ist, sind alle drei Heizele­ mente 23, 24, 25 unabhängig voneinander gesteuert bzw. gere­ gelt. Bei der dargestellten Ausführungsform sind drei Soll­ wertgeber vorgesehen, die aber zweckmäßigerweise in einer nicht dargestellten Weise mechanisch miteinander gekoppelt sind, um eine gleiche Sollwerteinstellung für jedes Heizelement zu er­ möglichen. Es ist aber auch durchaus möglich nur einen Soll­ wertgeber für alle drei Ansteuerschaltungen vorzusehen, wobei dann die Klemmen 52 bzw. 53 einer der Ansteuerschaltun­ gen 52, 52′, 52′′ parallel geschaltet werden.
Die Ansteuerschaltungen 50, 50′, 50′′ sind gleich aufgebaut und erlauben eine stufenlose Regulierung der Heizleistung eines jeden Heizelementes 23, 24, 25 entsprechend dem mittels des ent­ sprechenden Sollwertgebers RP, RP′, RP′′ eingestellten Sollwertes der Temperatur. Für die Heizungsregulierung wird ein Thyri­ stor T 3, T 3′, T 3′′ verwendet, doch kann auch ein Triac verwendet werden. Jeder Thyristor wird über einen stabilisierten Span­ nungsteiler und zwei Zenerdioden D 1, D 2, die mit den Transi­ storen T 1, T 2 in Gegenschaltung gekoppelt sind, ausgesteuert. Mit dem stabilisierten Spannungsteiler, der durch den Thermistor RT und dem Sollwertgeber gebildet ist, wird die Basis des Transi­ stors ausgesteuert. Die Zenerdioden haben den Zweck, eine Netz­ spannungsschwankung von ±10% zu kompensieren. Je nach der Einstellung des Sollwertgebers und der Höhe des Thermistorwi­ derstandes, der durch die Temperatur an dem entsprechenden Meßpunkt (die beiden Schweißkeile 22 und der Mittelbereich) bestimmt wird, steigt oder fällt die Steuerspannung am Thyri­ stor. Somit wird die Leistung der Heizung durch Phasenschnitt gesteuert, welcher von der Temperatur des Meßpunktes abhängig ist. Die Widerstände R 1, R 2, R 3 und R 4 dienen zur Festlegung der Arbeitspunkte der Transistoren T 1, T 2.

Claims (3)

1. Schweißgerät zum Verschweißen von Kunststoffbahnen durch mindestens zwei im Abstand angeordneter Schweißnähte, bestehend aus einem Geräterahmen, einer vor der Verschweißungsstelle längs verschiebbar angeordneten steuerbaren Heizeinrichtung mit mindestens zwei im Abstand angeordneten Schweißkeilen, und aus einander gegenüberliegenden und aneinander anpreßbaren, durch einen Motor antreibbaren Andrückrollen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Heizeinrichtung (19) thermostatisch steuerbare Heizele­ mente (23, 24) aufweist und daß die Heizelemente (23, 24) jedes Schweißkeiles (22) unabhängig voneinander steuerbar sind.
2. Schweißgerät nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Heizelemente (23, 24) in an sich bekannter Weise mittels Thyristoren (T 3, T 3′, T 3′′) steuerbar sind.
3. Schweißgerät nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zwischen den keramisch ausgeführten Heizelementen (23, 24) ein weiterer Heizkörper (25) vorgesehen ist, wobei die beiden Heizelemente (23, 24) im Bereich des keilförmigen Endes über den mittleren Heizkörper (25) vorstehend ausgebildet sind.
