Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum maschinellen Banderolieren von angenähert zylindrischen, insbesondere weichen Körpern, wie Wollknäueln od. dgl., gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruches 1.The invention relates to a device for mechanical Banding of approximately cylindrical, in particular soft bodies, such as balls of wool or the like, according to Preamble of claim 1.

Bei einem bekannten Verfahren und einer Vorrichtung dieser Art (DE-PS 12 67 593) wird eine streifenförmige von einem Stapel abgezogene Banderole aus Papier od. dgl. Material auf den zu umschließenden Körper von oben aufgelegt, dann die Banderole um den Körper herum nach unten umgeschlagen und schließlich der Körper samt der ihn halb umschließenden Banderole horizontal verschoben, wobei die Banderolenumschließung vollendet und die Enden miteinander verleimt werden. Um auch weiche und nachgiebige Körper, wie Woll- oder ähnliche Knäuel, banderolieren zu können, wird die auf dem Knäuel aufgelegte Banderole während des Umhüllungs vorganges von einem Haftorgang festgehalten, ohne sie dabei an den Körper anzudrücken und sowohl der umbeleim te als auch der beleimte Banderolenabschnitt durch geformte Führungsmittel vollständig um den Körper herumgelegt, worauf die festgehaltene Banderole wieder freigegeben wird. In der Praxis hat sich aber gezeigt, daß sehr weiche Körper, wie es viele Wollknäuel sind, mit dieser bekannten Einrichtung nicht immer mit einer gestrafften Banderole versehen werden können. In der Verpackungsindustrie ist es an sich bekannt, das Hüll material während des Hindurchführens des zu verpackenden Gegenstandes durch einen Faltkanal mittels Saugluft festzuhalten und zu spannen, damit es beim Umhüllen des Gegenstandes keine unkontrollierten Bewegungen ausführen kann. Dabei kann der Saugzug auch so gesteuert werden, daß das Hüllmaterial nach dem Falten schlupfend von den Saugorganen abgezogen werden kann. Als Saug einrichtungen sind dazu u. a. seitlich der Verpackungs bahn bewegbare Saugfördermittel in Form von drehbaren Saugscheiben (DE-AS 11 69 361) oder gelochte Vakuum saugkammern (DE-AS 15 86 254) bekanntgeworden. Die zu banderolierenden Körper 1, wie Wollknäuel od. dgl., werden auf einer schrittweise bewegten Transportkette (nicht gezeichnet) antransportiert, von einem Hochheber 2 erfaßt und in eine Banderolenstation angehoben. Hier liegt eine streifenförmige Banderole 3 von zwei seitlichen Greif zangen 5 erfaßt bereit, nachdem sie aus einem Banderolen stapel herausgezogen worden ist. Dabei wurde die Banderole mit ihrem linken schmalen Ende über eine Leimrolle 7 be wegt, die auf ihrer Unterseite einen Leimstrich erzeugte. Die so herausgezogene Banderole kommt, wie in Fig. 1 unten gezeigt, etwa mit ihrer Mittel auf den angehobenen Körper 1 zu liegen, wo sie von ihrer Oberseite her durch einen Festhalter 8 (gestrichelt) festgehalten wird, der dazu mit Saugöffnungen 9 versehen und von oben abgesenkt worden ist. Nach Erreichen dieser End lage wird ein Faltschwert 17 in Pfeilrichtung 19 vor geschoben und bewirkt ein weiteres Umlegen des rechten Banderolenabschnitts unten um den Körper herum, während gleichzeitig der hintere Seitenfalter 10 um eine Dreh achse in die in Fig. 1 gezeichnete Endlage geschwenkt wird, in welcher er eine horizontale Führungsebene bil det und gleichzeitig das Ende des Banderolenabschnitts nach oben biegt, das jetzt der vom Festhalter 8 fixierten Stelle diametral gegenüberliegt. Ist der Körper so weit zur Seite geschoben, daß der vordere Banderolenabschnitt 25 auf den vorderen Sei tenfalter 11 umgelegt ist, dann wird auch hier eine Saug nut 35 in der Oberfläche 22 dieses Seitenfalters wirksam, die diesen Banderolenabschnitt ansaugt und gegenüber einer fortschreitenden Seitenbewegung zurückhält, so daß hier durch auf die am Verschiebekopf 15 fixierte Banderole ein Zug und damit eine Straffung ausgeübt wird, ohne daß dadurch der Körper deformiert wird. Auch diese Saugnut 35 erstreckt sich quer zur Schubrichtung über den vorderen Seitenfalter 11 in einer Länge, die kleiner als die Ban derolenbreite ist. Vorzugsweise befindet sich diese Nut etwa 7 bis 15 mm nach der Umlegkante 21 des Seitenfalters. Dadurch wird der Saugzug auf die Banderole erst allmählich und mit voller Kraft erst dann wirksam, wenn die Banderole weitgehend bis zur unteren Scheitellinie des Körpers um gelegt ist. Die auf diese Weise erreichte Straffung der Banderole ist natürlich abgeschlossen, bevor die beiden Banderolenenden verleimt werden. Der auf diese Saugnut zu beaufschlagende Saugzug soll nicht so stark sein, daß die Banderole festgesaugt und ihre Bewegung gänzlich ge stoppt wird. Wichtig ist vielmehr eine Saugwirkung, die sich mit fortschreitender Seitenbewegung des Körpers verstärkt, aber dennoch ein Nachrutschen der Banderole nicht ganz unterbindet.
