Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung von vollständig entbtterten Glykosiden aus--der Cascara Sagrada-Rinde. Es ist bekannt, daß es gelingt, mit Hilfe von gebrannter Magnesia oder Zinkoxyd aus Cascara-Sagrada-Rinde entbitterte Extrakte zu erhalten. Einesteils wird aber die Entbitterung nicht vollständig erreicht, andernteils werden beim Arbeiten mit gebrannter Magnesia 'auch wirksame Methylanthrachinone ausgefällt, die nicht mehr in den bei der Extraktbereitung verwendeten Lösungsmitteln löslich sind. Den nach beiden Verfahren hergestellten Extrakten haftet aber der Nachteil an, daß diese nicht von den Ballaststoffen befreit sind, und daß dieselben daher bei ihrer therapeutischen Verwendung Reizwirkungen zeigen.Process for the production of completely peeled glycosides from Cascara Sagrada bark.
