Eine Befestigungs-Vorrichtung, die ein leichtes Befestigen, sowie Abnehmen des Schlittschuhes ermöglicht, ist in beiliegender Zeichnung dargestellt. A fastening device that allows easy fastening and removal of the skate is shown in the accompanying drawing.

Wird nun die Schraube m gelöst, so kann die Klammer c angezogen und nach der Gröfse des Absatzes gestellt werden, ohne gleichzeitig die Haken h zu bewegen; diese lassen sich hiernach durch Zusammendrücken nach der Breite der Sohle justiren, indem sich die Schraube m in dem Schlitze des Stückes / nach rückwärts verschiebt. Hat also der Schlittschuhläufer in dieser Weise den Schlittschuh seinem Schuhwerk angepafst und vermittelst des Schlüssels, Fig. 5, die Mutter der Schraube m angezogen, so ist der Schlitttschuh ein für allemal richtig gestellt, und man hat auf dem Eise behufs Anbringung desselben nur die Schraube α durch Durchstecken des Schlüssels durch die Oehre derselben anzuziehen, um den Schlittschuh zuverlässig an dem Schuhwerk zu befestigen. Eine etwa vorkommende Lockerung während der Fahrt wird durch Nachstellung der Schraube ohne weitere Umstände sofort beseitigt, und zur Abnahme der Schlittschuhe nach beendigter Fahrt ist nur die entgegengesetzte Drehung der Schraube erforderlich.The hooks are connected by the two pieces g and / with the clamp c , so that the attachment of the skate to the sole is also brought about by tightening the screw.
