Bei den herkömmlichen Ausführungen von Lichts signalen mit lichtdurchlässigen Abdeckungen für die elektrische Hausinstallation und ähnliche Zwecke wird die Verbindung zwischen den beiden Teilen vornehmlich durch ein Schraubgewinde hergestellt. Das Lichtsignal besteht im wesentlichen aus einer lichtdurchlässigen Abdeckung in Form einer Kalotte 1 und dem Gehäuse 2, in dem ein elektrischer Installationseinsatz 3 mit einer Lichtquelle 4 angeordnet ist. Zur Befestigung der Kalotte mit dem Gehäuse sind an dem unteren Rand der Kalotte zwei diametral gegenüberliegende Ansätze 5 angeformt, die in entsprechende Ausnehmungen 5' im Gehäuse 2 einrasten. Dabei übernehmen die Ansätze 5 die Verrastung mit dem Gehäuse in den Ausnehmungen 5'. Die Kalotte 1 weist, wie die Fig. 1 und , erkennen lassen, unmittelbar oberhalb der Ansätze 5 auf der Außenseite eine Ringnut 6 mit einem Dichtungsring 7 auf. Beim Verrasten mit dem Gehäuse wird der Dichtungsring in Paßsitz mit der Gehäusewand des Lichtsignals gebracht, wodurch das Lichtsignal zusätzlich feuchtigkeitsdicht gemacht wird. Mittels eines Werkzeuges - z.B. eines Schraubendrehers 8 -dessen Klinge in die Ringnut 6 greift, kann die Kalotte leicht entfernt werden.
