Description

Hilfsrost für Wanderrostfeuerungen. Gegenstand' des Patents 298774 ist eine Wanderrostfeuerung mit winkelförmigem Hilfsrost, durch dessen Spalten die zur Entzündung gebrachte Kohle auf den Wanderrost gelangt. Um die Betriebssicherheit und Haltbarkeit dieses Hilfsrostes zu erhöhen, werden nach der Erfindung die Roststäbe aus zwei Teilen zusammengesetzt, und zwar wird der winkelförmige, auf dem Wanderrost aufliegende Teil auswechselbar und aus feuerfestem Stoff hergestellt. Da nur dieser Teil des Roststabes dem Feuer ausgesetzt ist, so bleiben die Roststäbe erheblich länger gebrauchsfähig als die gleichmäßig aus Stahl gebildeten Stäbe, und es kann ferner ein durch die Feuerwirkung beschädigter Roststab durch Anbringung eines neuen feuerfesten Teiles wieder gebrauchsfähig -gemacht werden.Auxiliary grate for traveling grate firing.
