Dabei· handelt es sich aber um Schläuche mit. großer Maschen.zahl, und solche Schläuche lassen sich für dünne Leiter nicht verwenden, weil darin der Draht nicht fest eingebettet werden kann. Beim Umstricken dünner elektrischer Leiter, z. B. für Telephone, für elektrisches Glühlicht ίο u. dgl. wird es erforderlich, einen Schlauch von möglichst nur drei bis acht Maschen herzustellen, wobei der oder die Drähte so. fest in dem Schlauch gehalten sein müssen, daß er sich nicht, auf dem Draht verschiebt oder daß gar der Draht aus dem Schlauch herausgezogen werden kann.
