Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung, durch die eine Desinfektion des Abortsitzes durch Hitze erfolgt. Es ist bekannt, zu diesem Zweck einen elektrischen Strom zu verwenden. Da solcher jedoch nicht überall vörhanden ist und auch eine besondere Ausbildung des Sitzes verlangt, so wird gemäß der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, den Sitz durch Abbrennen einer offenen Flamme, vor allem einer Gasflamme, zu desinfizieren; der naturgemäß aus hitzebeständiger Mässe, z.
