Pyrophoric ignition device for gas burners and heating devices.
The subject of the present invention is a pyrophoric gas ignition device, which is set up so that it can be easily attached to any gas cooking or heating device at any time, then remains in permanent contact with the same and at any time easily enables the ignition of an ignition flame, with the help of which the others can be ignited The burner of the cooking or heating device can ignite. It is of particular importance that the ignition device itself does not burn continuously with a small flame, but that the ignition flame goes out and, at the same time, the gas flow from the igniter stops as soon as it is placed in its properly assigned place.
The invention is shown in two embodiments on the accompanying drawings, u. Between: Fig. 1 shows a view from above, and Fig. 2 shows a front view of the first embodiment, Fig. 3 shows a plan view and Fig. 4 shows a vertical longitudinal section of the second embodiment and Fig. 5 shows the detonator on a larger scale.
In the exemplary embodiments, the ignition device is shown in connection with a conventional gas stove. In the drawing, a denotes the gas cooker, the burner taps b of which receive the gas supplied through a common feed pipe c in a known manner. As is known, this feed pipe c is closed at one end by a sleeve d, while at the other end a hose nipple e is arranged, through which the connection to the main gas line is usually made by means of a hose. The ignition device consists initially of the holder f, which at

inside.
The igniter I, m is a simple tube, which is brought into a handy shape on the outer surface and which ends at the front end in the pilot burner n made of hardened steel, while a hose o is attached to its other end.
The hose o sits on a small chicken p, which is inserted into the socket d and is therefore in direct connection with the gas line. This chicken p is used to turn off the ignition cable completely or to regulate the pilot flame. As soon as this chicken p is open, the gas emerges from the burner n of the igniter I, m, and if you stroke this igniter over the pyrophoric igniter i, the gas is ignited immediately, and you can comfortably all the rest with this ignition flame Ignite the burner of the gas cooker or heating device a.
As soon as the igniter I, m, n with its conical end l is firmly inserted into the conical recess k of the holder f in the manner shown in FIG. 1, the flame of the igniter is extinguished and at the same time the gas escapes from the igniter completed in a reliable manner. The same is thus in permanent readiness for use, and you can re-ignite the ignition flame at any moment if you pull the igniter in the manner, as Fig. 2 shows, while pulling its part n over the pyrophoric flint i, whereby the necessary ignition sparks are generated will.
In the second embodiment, the holder f, in which the pyrophoric flint i sits, is combined with the socket d, and the small tap p is also arranged in this socket. The
Hose o is attached directly to the chicken p and the tap lever q has any two
