Der Apparat besteht aus einem geschlossenen, mit dem zur Verdampfung bestimmten Wasser gefüllten Gefäfs A, in welchem sich die Heizfläche in Form eines durch überhitztes Wasser oder durch Dampf erwärmten Schraubenrohres B befindet. In der Nähe des Bodens mündet ein Rohr C, durch welches das Gefäfs A mit einem höher stehenden Reservoir D, Fig. 1, oder einem beliebig placirten Windkessel E, Fig. 2, in Verbindung steht. Die Inbetriebsetzung der erwähnten Heizfläche B hat eine Verdampfung im Innern von A zur Folge.The apparatus consists of a closed vessel A filled with the water intended for evaporation, in which the heating surface is located in the form of a screw tube B heated by superheated water or by steam.
