Die Erfindung betrifft eine Sohle aus Holz für Schuhwerk, welche durch Einschneiden biegsam gemacht ist. Die Einschnitte, welche in der Längs- und in der Querrichtung der Sohle verlaufen, gehen nun, und darin besteht das Neue, 'durch die ganze Stärke des Holzes hindurch und sind so geführt, daß an ihren Enden Verbindungsstücke stehenbleiben.
