Abstract

The exhaust pipe of a domestic tumble drier is connected to a retractable hose which, in unextended form, is stored in a compartment within the machine housing. The free end of the hose has a hinged flap which forms a cover to the storage compartment, and may be used to attach the hose to a window or ventilator.
