Description
Bekanntlich bietet die Schmierung der Zylinder von Benzinmotoren. dadurch gewisse
Schwierigkeiten, daß die für Maschinenschmierung gebräuchlichen Schmiermittel, Mineralöle,
speziell Zylinderöle, in Benzin löslich sind. Sie werden durch die Benzindämpfe von' den Wandungen
der Zylinder abgelöst, und die Zylinder laufen infolgedessen trocken. Man war daher
für die Schmierung der Zylinder von Benzinmotoren bisher auf die Verwendung des Rizinusöles
angewiesen ; alle anderen fetten öle eignen sich für diesen Zweck nicht, weil sie bekanntlich
in Benzin löslich sind.
