Abstract

The air distributor for a ventilation system consists of a ring (1) with an outer cone (2) at the bottom, enclosing an inner cone (3). The device is mounted on e.g. a ceiling, and air delivered through the ring is discharged from the gap between the cones. The included angle of the outer cone is 90 degrees, and that for the inner cone is 120 degrees. The ring carries a flange (6) around the top, for rotation, and four radial brackets (8) for support. The inner cone is suspended from the outer cone by radial supports (4) secured across the gap between them by screws (5). A baffle is also mounted across the gap between them.
