Claims (29)

1. Leuchtelement, dessen Lichtquelle als an wenigstens einer Oberfläche flächig abstrahlende plattenförmige Leuchteinheit ausgebildet und schichtartig zwischen einem Trag- und Montageelement sowie einer Abdeckung angeordnet ist.
2. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Lichtquelle eine Platine mit darauf angeordneten Leuchtdioden verwendet wird.
3. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Leuchtdioden Leuchtdioden mit Linsenkopf verwendet werden.
4. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Leuchtdioden flache SMD-Leuchtdioden verwendet werden.
5. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Lichtquelle zur flächigen Abstrahlung angeordnete Lichtleiter verwendet werden.
6. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Lichtquelle zur flächigen Abstrahlung angeordnete Gasentladungsleuchten verwendet werden.
7. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Lichtquelle zur flächigen Abstrahlung angeordnete Glüh- oder Glimmlampen verwendet werden.
8. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Trag- und Montageelement eine Sockelplatte verwendet wird.
9. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Trag- und Montageelement mindestens eine Ausnehmung zur Aufnahme von elektrischen Bauteilen aufweist.
10. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Trag- und Montageelement aus Metall gefertigt ist.
11. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abdeckung durch Vergießen der Lichtquelle mit einem transparenten Vergußmaterial gebildet wird.
12. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abdeckung durch ein scheibenförmiges Abdeckelement gebildet wird.
13. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Abdeckelement wenigstens teilweise aus Glas besteht.
14. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 12, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Abdeckelement wenigstens teilweise aus transparentem Kunststoff besteht.
15. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Trag- und Montageelement, die plattenförmige Leuchteinheit, und die Abdeckung rahmenlos zusammengefügt sind.
16. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Leuchteinheit mit dem Trag- und Montageelement und der Abdeckung durch Verkleben fest verbunden ist.
17. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Leuchteinheit mit dem Träger- und Montageelement und der Abdeckung durch Halteelemente lösbar verbunden ist.
18. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Halteelemente Halteklammern verwendet werden.
19. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abdeckung zur Erzielung optischer Effekte ausgebildet ist.
20. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abdeckung mattiert ist.
21. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 20, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abdeckung aus farbigem, transparentem Material besteht.
22. Leuchtelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 21, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Abdeckung zumindest teilweise aus Verbund-Sicherheitsglas (VSG) besteht, bei dem zwischen zwei Glasschichten zumindest bereichsweise eine Folie angeordnet ist, die das von der plattenförmigen Leuchteinheit erzeugte Licht optisch beeinflußt.
23. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 22, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Abdeckung und/oder einer die Leuchteinheit umgebenden Vergußmasse optisch wirkende Stoffe und/oder Farbstoffe beigemischt sind.
24. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 23, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als optisch wirkende Stoffe fluoreszierende oder eine Diffusierung bewirkende Stoffe gewählt werden.
25. Leuchtelement nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 24, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es zur Signalerzeugung ausgebildet ist.
26. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 25, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es als Hinweis- und Informationsleuchte ausgebildet ist.
27. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 25, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es als dynamisches Informationssystem ausgebildet ist.
28. Leuchtelement nach Anspruch 27, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß zur Ausbildung des dynamischen Informationssystems ein mit einem Videosignal angesteuerter LCD-Bildschirm zwischen Leuchteinheit und Abdeckung angeordnet ist.
29. Leuchtelement nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 28, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es in Form einer Kachel ausgebildet ist.
