SELBSTSAUGENDER NOTBEHÄLTERSELF-SUCTION EMERGENCY CONTAINER
The production, mixing and storage of large quantities of valuable, often dangerous liquids of all kinds and properties usually takes place in vats, tanks or other containers,
Transport takes place via pipelines, tank trucks and tank ships.
It is not uncommon for unfortunate accidents to occur after which the environment is affected by soil or water pollution, contamination and remediation is very expensive, sometimes even impossible.
Often there is no possibility or opportunity to collect the leaked liquids after a leak, especially when adverse conditions such as fire, wind, rain and/or dangerous sea conditions in the case of damaged ships make it impossible to pump out crude oil, for example. Often, only subsequent operations can be carried out with inadequate means to contain "the worst". Soil removal, binding agents or floating barriers play a role in this. These methods are very inadequate and very costly.
This problem is alleviated by the self-priming emergency container described in claim 1, by preventing the entire part of a tank from leaking out, by ensuring that at least a part is retained in small portions when the self-priming emergency container is used. The accordion-like nature of the emergency container when filled and relatively tight prevents a medium from leaking out through narrow cracks or holes. Even when emergency containers leak out, including the medium, it is still bound and cannot easily combine with fire-fighting water or sea water or river water.
Another advantage of self-priming emergency containers is their relatively small volume when folded up taking into account the later capacity. In addition, special shapes can be used, e.g. the spherical shape for crude oil, which allows the balls and the loose liquids to be collected at the same time when pumping out.
The emergency containers can be subsequently placed in the liquid to be bound, but emergency containers built in for safety and protected against moisture could also be activated if necessary.

Figure 1 shows an emergency container (1) in the extended, relaxed state, made of elastic plastic, which is under tension when compressed, Figure 2, and is prevented by the belt (2) from returning to the starting or rest position and sucking in a medium, the belt (2) is designed in such a way that it loses its tear resistance when it is exposed to liquids and becomes wet. The belt then tears and releases the tension of the base body, the emergency container (1).
Inside the base body (1), in front of the opening, a membrane (3) is installed, which allows suction but prevents the medium from being pushed out.
