2.3. Solution:

The window cleaning drip guard is designed to prevent cleaning water from dripping down when cleaning a window sash that opens inwards.

2.3.1. The window cleaning drip guard consists of a strip of absorbent material, e.g. textile, which is 10 to 30 cm wide and 60 cm to .. (depending on the width of the window) long. It is placed from below around the base of the window sash (that is the part of the window frame facing the floor) using two Velcro fasteners, one part of which (the actual Velcro structure) is attached to the textile strip with rubber bands, the other part (hook structure) is sewn directly onto the strip of absorbent material or is attached to it in another way, and is tightly fastened using the rubber bands, with the rubber band on the hinge being felt through above the hinge to ensure better hold.

2.4. Benefits achieved:

Any running cleaning water is now caught by the absorbent material and can no longer dirty or damage anything. Since the window cleaning drip guard can be attached and removed again in a matter of seconds, its effectiveness will make the work of building cleaners significantly easier, but will also help prevent damage in private households.

shows the window cleaning drip guard, placed from below around the base of the frame of the opened window sash. The rubber band, on the side facing away from the hinge of the window, is simply pulled tightly around the front part of the frame and fastened to the Velcro counterpart on the outside of the window sash. The rubber band on the hinge side of the window sash is passed through above the hinge between the window sash and frame and is also fastened to its counterpart on the outside of the window sash to ensure an optimal fit.
