Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren der im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 genannten Art.
Nach einem bekannten Verfahren dieser Art werden zur Schaffung der Krafteinleitungspunkte Kernfüllmassen
auf der Basis von Reaktionsklebern eingesetzt. Beim Verkleben des Kerns mit den Deckschichten härten
diese durch Wärmeeinwirkung zu Duroplasten aus. Zum Einbringen der Befestigungselemente werden an den
entsprechenden Stellen Aufnahmebohrungen angebracht, in die die Betatigungselemr^.te vorwiegend
durch Reaktions-Gießmassen eingeklebt werden. Der Hauptnachteil dieses Verfahrens besteht darin, daß sich
durch das Einbringen der hochviskosen Kernfüllmasse und das anschließende Einkleben der Befestigungselemente
eine aufwendige Fertigung ergibt.
Aus der Zeitschrift »Kunststoffe«, Bd. 64, 1974, H. 5, S. 239 und 240 ist bekannt, Metallteile, wie z. B.
Verbindungselemente, durch Ultraschall in ein Kunststoffbauteil einzufügen. Dabei wird das Bauteil vorher
mit Aufnahmebohrungen versehen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von Sandwichbauteilen der
eingangs genannten Art anzugeben, mit dem das Einbringen der Verbindungselemente unter geringerem
Aufwand erfolgen kann. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß mit den Merkmalen des kennzeichnenden
Teils von Anspruch 1 gelöst.
Durch das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren entfällt das Mischen der Reaktionsgießmasse zum Einkleben der
Verbindungselemente und das anschließende Aushärten der Masse. Außerdem wird durch die Erfindung die
Möglichkeit eröffnet, preiswerte Verbindungselemente, wie sie zum Einsetzen mittels Ultraschall in Kunststoffspritzteile
bekannt sind, auch bei der Herstellung von Sandwichbauteilen zu verwenden. Hierdurch ergibt sich
insgesamt eine äußerst vorteilhafte Fertigung*- und Preisgestaltung.
Durch den erfindungsgemäßen Einsatz von schaumartigen
Materialien ist es in überraschender Weise gelungen, bei Sandwichbauteilen das Einschalten auch
durch die Deckschicht hindurch ohne das vorherige Herstellen von Aufnahmebohrungen zu ermöglichen.
Ks folgt die Beschreibung von Ausführungsbeispielcn der Erfindung anhand der Zeichnung. Es zeigt
Fig. 1 einen Fertigungsablauf zur Herstellung eines
Krafteinleitungspunktes mit einem Thermoplast-Schaumstopfen;
Fig.2 einen Fertigungsablauf zur Herstellung eines
Krafteinleitungspunktes unter Verwendung eines Granulats.
Entsprechend den Fig. la bis Id sind von einem
herzustellenden Sandwichbauteil zunächst nur ein
ίο Wabenkern 1 und eine untere Deckschicht 3 gemäß
Fig. la vorhanden. Durch eine Achse 2 ist die Stelle
markiert, an der ein Krafteinleitungspunkt geschaffen werden soll. Es wird daher ein Teil des Wabenkerns 1
durch einen Schnitt herausgetrennt, so daß ein freier Raum 4 nach Fig. Ib entsteht. In diesen Raum 4 wird
envsprechend Fig. Ic ein Stopfen 10 aus aufgeschäumter
Polymermasse eingesetzt, eine Deckschicht 6 aufgelegt und das Sandwichbauteil in einer nicht
dargestellten Klebevorrichtung zusammengeklebt.
Nach dem Zusammenkleben ist der aufgeschäumte Stopfen 10 fest mit den Deckschichten 3 und 6 verklebt.
Eine festere Verankerung des geschäumten Stopfens
10 wird durch eine Verbindung desselben mit dem Wabenkern 1 besonders gut über einen treibmittelhaltigen
2-Komponentenkleber erreicht, der auf dem Stopfen 10 aufgebracht wird. In den aufgeschäumten
Stopfen 10 wird nun mit Hilfe der Ultraschalltechnik ein Verbindungselement fl durch die Deckschicht 6
hindurch eingeschallt, ohne daß das Sandwichbauteil vorgebohrt werden muß. Nach dem Erkalten der
Polymermasse ist das. Verbindungselement 11 fest im Sandwichbauteil verankert und belastbar. Wegen der
durch das Einbringen des Verbindungselementes 11 ohne Vorbohrung erzeugten Komprimierung der
gasgefüllten Schmelze zu kompaktem Material, werden höhere Festigkeiten des Verbindungselementes 1
gegenüber dem Stopfen 10 erzeugt.
Eine weitere Ausgestaltung des Verfahrens ist in F i g. 2 dargestellt. Hierbei wird nach den F i g. 2a und 2b
in den Wabenkern 1 mit der unteren Deckschicht 3 im Bereich um die Achsen 2 ein Granulat 15 einer
aufschäumbaren Polymermasse in die Waben des Wabenkerns 1 eingebracht. Anschließend wird die
obere Deckschicht 6 aufgelegt und das Sandwichbauteil unter Wärmeeinwirkung in der Klebevorrichtung
zusammengeklebt. Dabei schäumt die eingebrachte Polymermasse auf und füllt die Waben vollständig aus,
wie in Fig. 2c dargestellt. Anschließend wird ein Verbindungselement <6 ohne Vorbohrung eingeschallt.
so Ein Vorteil dieser Ausgestaltung des Verfahrens besteht darin, daß ein Heraustrennen des Wabenkerns im
Bereich des Krafteinleitungspunktes entfällt. Es wurde näir.üch überraschend festgestellt, daß die Waben des
Wabenkerns 1 dem Einschalten des Verbindungselementes 16 keinen nennenswerten Widerstand entgegensetzen.
Nachdem die Polymermasse erstarrt ist, ist das Verbindungselement 16 fest in dem Sandwichbauteil
verankert, wie dies F i g. 2d zeigt.
Für das Verfahren sind thermoplastische Kunststoffe
6n wie Polyvinylchlorid, Polystyrol, Polyamid, Polycarbonat
geeignet. Diese Werkstoffe enthalten Treibmittelzusätze bekannter Art. Bei Verwendung von Vorprodukten,
die zu schaumartigen Thermoplasten wie Polymethylmethacrylat oder Polyamid reagieren, wird die
μ Reaktion durch Energiezufuhr verschiedener Art, wie
z. B. Wärme und Strahlung, gestartet. Als Granulat zum Ausschäumen der Waben ist z. B. treibmittelhaltiges
Polystyrol (Styropor) geeignet.

Claims (1)
- Patentanspruch:Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Sandwichbauteils mit eingebauten Verbindungselementen, das im wesentlichen aus einer unteren und einer oberen Deckschicht, vorzugsweise aus faserverstärktem Kunststoff, sowie einem zwischen den Deckschichten angeordneten Wabenkern besteht und für die Verbindungselemente Krafteinleitungspunkte aufweist, bei dem die Krafteinleitungspunkte dadurch geschaffen werden, daß an den betreffenden Stellen eine Kernfüllmasse aus Kunststoff in den Kern eingebracht und — soweit nötig — ausgehärtet wird, und die Verbindungselemente in die ausgehärtete Kernfüllmasse eingelassen werden, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Kernfüllmasse schaumartiger Thermoplast oder ein zu schaumartigem Thermoplast reagierendes Vorprodukt verwendet wird und daß das Einlassen der Verbindungselemente durch Ultraschalleinschmelzen ohne vorheriges Anbringen von Aufnahmebohrungen erfolgt.
