Seither mußte die Näherin bei Herstellung von Hemdenschlußstücken mit der Einnadelmaschine den Stoffstreifen erst an das Hemdteil annähen, dann wurde der Doppelsaum umgeschlagen und eine zweite Naht hergestellt, schließlich wurde der einfache Saum an der anderen Kante umgeschlagen und durch zwei Einzelnähte angenäht (wie nach Fig. io). Dieses Verfahren ist überaus ximständlich.

Mit der Stoffaustrittsöffnung e kommt die Vorrichtung, wie Fig. 2 erkennen läßt, nahe an die Maschinennadeln f bzw. den Stoffdrücker g der Nähmaschine heran, so daß der den angebrochenen Saum besitzende Stoffstreifen 0 genau unter die Nadeln geführt wird, wobei der linke einfache Saum i auf das Warenstück k, der rechte Doppelsaum d dagegen um die Kante des Warenstückes zu liegen kommt (Fig. 4 und 5). Mit Hilfe von Metallwinkeln h ist die Vorrichtung drehbar und feststellbar an einem Winkel I angeordnet, und dieser ist durch Schrauben und im Schlitz verschiebbar am Maschinentisch befestigt.
