Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Reinigen von Gasen von Staub, kondensierbaren Dämpfen u. dgl., in der Gas und Flüssigkeit durch einen schraubenförmigen Leitkörper geführt werden, und besteht darin, daß sowohl der Umhüllungskörper wie der ihm angepaßte Leitkörper in der Bewegungsrichtung konisch verlaufen, so daß die von Gas und Flüssigkeit zu durchlaufenden Querschnitte immer enger werden und die Berührung zwischen Gas und Flüssigkeit eine fortschreitend innigere wird und sich schließlich eine Emulsion bildet, die eine gute Einwirkung der Waschflüssigkeit auf alle Gasteilchen sichert.The invention relates to a device for cleaning gases from dust, condensable Vapors and the like, in which gas and liquid are guided through a helical guide body, and consists of that both the enveloping body and the guide body adapted to it in the direction of movement run conically, so that the cross-sections to be traversed by gas and liquid are getting closer and closer and the contact between gas and liquid is progressing becomes more intimate and finally an emulsion forms, which has a good effect the scrubbing liquid secures all gas particles.
