Verfahren zum Trockenkühlen von Koks mittels durch die Koksfüllung eines Behälters hindurchzuleitender Kühlgase, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kühlgase, welche die den Behälter durchwandernde Koksfüllung bestreichen, von einem im Behälter angeordneten Einbau aus über eine Zone von gewisser Höhe verteilt in die Koksfüllung eingeführt werden.
