Abstract

The inertially fired flash bulbs are held in a special strip which has a plastic reflector pressed into a series of reflecting surfaces. The bottom ends of the strip are fitted with protective shields on each side of the detonator tube fitted to each bulb. The detonator tubes are inserted through holes in the bottom of the strip and can be protected further by thin strip material over the tubes. The striker is accurately aimed at the tubes in turn, by the protective side plates and is strong enough to penetrate the thin protective strip over the tubes. The system ensures that when a bulb is fired any distortion in the bulbs and strip does not inhibit the firing process of the next bulb by mislocating the striker.

Nach einer anderen Ausgestaltung ist vorgesehen, daß die Bohrung derart im Vorsprung angeordnet ist, daß zwischen der Aufschlagstelle eines Schlaggliedes und dem Zündelement ein dünner, den Schlag des Schlaggliedes weiterleitender oder durchschlagbarer Steg besteht. Hierdurch sind die Zündelemente der Blitzlampen so geschützt gelagert, daß auch bei Veränderung der Kolben von abbrennenden Blitzlampen keine Beeinflussung der Zündelemente noch nicht gezündeter Blitzlampen erfolgen kann.
