Durch dieses Hin- und Herbewegen des heifsen Wassers wird eine sehr energische Reinigung des Rohres bewirkt. Nach etwa zehnmaliger Auf- und Niederbewegung des Schwengels a1 wird Hahn/ wieder geschlossen und Hahn h geöffnet, so dafs beim weiteren Pumpen das im Rohr befindliche , schmutzig gewordene Wasser abläuft.
